Brrr..it's cold outside

It's crazy to think how fast time passes! Just a couple more days 'til Thanksgiving, then it will be December. Yikes! I'm not much of a fan of the cold, so we spend a majority of our days inside the warm house! Although, today we bundled up to walk to the mailbox :p I think I get super lazy in wintertime, because I rarely even WANT to leave the house. Cheaper that way, though! Hopefully I'm not depriving poor Jaxon of the outdoors! I'll make up for it when it warms up, I promise!
I'm getting anxious to do our Christmas cards, and of course excited to see everyone elses! Makes it FUN to check the mail ;) (Yea, it doesn't take much!)
Well my 'cat' napper is waking up.

Chatting with daddy. Seems like no matter what he's doing when Kent gets home, he will direct all his attention to him! Blabbering away about his day I suppose :) I think it's pretty neat.

Stuffing :)

You Are The Stuffing
You're complicated and complex, yet all your pieces fit together.
People miss you if you're gone - but they're not sure why.

Not quite big enough..

If you look close you can see he barely can reach with one foot :P So it doesn't take long before he is too frustrated and wants out.

Lovey...

Cuddlin' with his lovey. I mostly love his big blue eyes popping out in this pic :)
Nothin too exciting, but some update has gotta be better than none!

Multiple Baby Pileup

In my quest to find out who my follower rhoades93 is, I found the list of blogs they follow. Recognizing a few, I decided to I'd check them out. When I came across the blog named multiple baby pileup I thought that sounded rather interesting so I'd take a peek. Before reading the profile, or anything that might tell me who these people are, I began reading their most recent post. Minutes...or seconds- into it I was sobbing. As I read a little more I saw that their baby Jack had passed away before he was even 3 months old (a triplet).....on my birthday. In some odd way it made me feel connected...I dunno how to explain it. Kent and Jaxon were hanging out in the living room and I said, "Kent I dunno who these people are, but I'm so sad!" He ofcourse wants to know why I'm continuing to read it if it's making me cry like a small child, but came over to the computer to see what it was all about!! But I can't help it, now I'm hooked, I'm also a follower.

4 month well-check

25.5 in TALL ;)~69%

14 lbs 11 oz~42%

Not too shabby considering he had some catchin' up to do!

After barely surviving more shots, he fell asleep on the way home. That probably means I should be too....He must be experiencing a growth spurt, on top of possibly teething. Wants to eat all night and drools like crazy, wanting to chomp on anything he can!

4 sweet months have passed :)

enjoying his thumb...more often than not; it's his whole fist!
I'm THIS big ;)

We have some work to do before he can sit up on his own!

Goal for the month-rolling over :)

I'm pretty sure he wants to roll over :P He started out perpendicular to this, so he has figured out how to spin around....ok fine, he's just a wiggly lil guy!
Hangin' out for tummy time-which he still doesn't enjoy too much.

I see you!
Today I realized I hadn't had to wipe his 'goopy' eye for a couple days. So maybe finally his tear duct has cleared up! I would sure be glad-it was slightly annoying!

Today I received a call from my Rheumatologist with good news! She finally had a meeting with other dr's and discovered I can take Enbrel for my RA and still breast-feed. Supposedly it's considered a Category B medicine-which is what ibuprofen is. (Slightly frustrated she hadn't looked into this sooner, but better late than never, right?) I meet with her first thing tomorrow morning to discuss the option and hopefully I will be able to start it soon, and that it works for me, so I can finally get off these dreaded steroids (although they have been a life saver for the last 18 months!) I definately don't want to be on them any longer than I have to. I believe Enbrel is similar to the injection I've taken in the past, just not sure how often I will need to do it. Once a month would be great, rather than once a week...we shall see!
One good thing about Kent not having work tomorrow-I don't have to drag Jaxon out of the house so early in the cold!

So with both my boys sleeping..

I decided to try my hand at baking some new cookies-Peppermint Meltaways. Or maybe it's this cold, dark time of year that has me in the baking mood, not sure. But If the name of the cookies doesn't sound dangerous enough-you must try them! And normally I never make as much as the recipe says it should, I make the cookies too big apparently :P Well ofcourse this time I somehow managed to get the right amount! Which is not such a good thing being I might be the only one in the house to eat them :S

Extra hour of sleep..

Well I'm not sure if I actually noticed a difference, since Jaxon is my clock these days :) We had a nice day though, and he actually took a morning and afternoon nap! We went to church, Famous Daves for lunch and had Brice, Byron, Jordan and Jen over for games and supper.
